Those fat-cat bullies at the credit card companies are out to get the good-intentioned American consumers.  They have dozens of hidden terms, conditions, and weasel clauses in their contracts that are intended to make them rich and steal your hard-earned money!

How do you think they profit billion$ of dollars per year?  A lot of that money comes from the outrageous interest rates and unfair charges they tack onto your bill! 

Your tempted with the 0% interest rates.  But if you read the fine print... you'll discover that you only get that low interest rate for a handful of months... its only good for certain types of purchases... if you're late (even just a day) they'll whack you with exorbitant interest and late charges... and here's the kicker: after your "introductory" 0% interest rate, they start charging 12-18% (or more) on the balance.

They give you all kinds of incentives to rack up the balance while the interest is cheap, knowing that you won't be able to pay it off before the interest kicks in after the introductory period.  Pretty deceiving, huh?

If you're even 1 day late, or can't afford to pay the entire minimum payment, they instantly raise your interest rate to 30%.  AND, they charge you a $40 late fee!

THAT'S USURY!  But the government turns a blind-eye!  Why???  Because Washington DC and California State were bought and paid for by those fat-cat bully credit card companies.

And, if you're close to your credit limit, (like so many folks nowadays) that $40 late fee will put you over the limit, and then they'll whack you with another $40 fee for being over the limit.  It's insane as far as I'm concerned!  $80 in extra fees every month!  It adds up quick!
